Simon Stevens in a Solicitor Advocate in our Crime Department. He is currently based in our Swindon office. Simon conducts all aspects of criminal cases, including representation at the Police Station, Magistrates’ Court, and Crown Court.
Prior to joining Reeds, Simon was a Partner at an East Midlands based multi-practice firm. While there, he managed the Criminal Litigation Team.
Simon is an excellent communicator and takes great pride in providing exceptional levels of client care in all of his cases. He is extremely organised and proactive, so his cases are always handled with the utmost care. With Simon’s experience and understanding, he provides outstanding representation at all stages of a case.
Notable cases
R v T: Led Junior Counsel in a murder case. The Defendant had previously stabbed her partner. During another altercation the Defendant 12 months after the Defendant fatally stabbed the same partner. Numerous issues arose in the case including loss of control. Acquitted of murder after 3 week trial.
