Anton Bednarek is a highly sought after accredited Associate Police station representative, and leads the team of representatives in Buckinghamshire from our Princes Risborough office.

Prior to joining Reeds in 2016 from Blaser Mills LLP, Anton built up over 10 years of experience assisting and representing clients with cases before the Crown Court.  This background enabled him to gain insight into the issues involved in some of the most serious offences that our clients can face including murder, complex conspiracies to supply drugs, serious sexual offences, fraud, theft, and causing death by dangerous driving.

Since becoming a Police station representative he continues to represent clients accused of a whole range of offences including grievous bodily harm, firearms offences, affray, robbery and possession of drugs with intent to supply.  He is adept at dealing equally with adults, juveniles and those who are otherwise vulnerable and is able to quickly build a rapport with his clients in difficult circumstances.  Anton’s past experience in dealing with Crown Court cases means that he naturally considers each case strategically, and is fully aware of the importance of the decisions taken at the Police Station in terms of how they can impact on the outcome of the case long after the interview has concluded. His reassuring manner and ability to explain complex situations in plain language helps put his clients at ease.  He is able to work extremely quickly to identify the relevant issues in the case, and his drive to dutifully protect the rights of his clients at the Police Station means that Anton is frequently requested by name to assist those who have been arrested, or asked to attend a voluntary interview.
