“Jess made everything very clear throughout my case right from the very beginning through to the end of my case. Even with all the Covid delays, Jess has kept me well informed. Thank you, Jess!”Client
Jessica Cantú is a Solicitor in our Exeter, Bristol and Swindon Family Teams. Jessica obtained her Bachelor’s degree in History & Anthropology from the University of Texas before going on to complete the GDL, and finally her LPC and an LLM in Professional Legal Practice at the University of Law Bristol. She accepted a training contact with Reeds in 2019 and qualified with us in 2021.
Jessica now accepts instructions predominantly from parents in care proceedings and pre-proceedings, representing clients in cases involving domestic abuse, substance abuse, and mental health difficulties among other issues. Jessica also accepts instructions from parents involved in private law matters involving child arrangements, such as contact and residence.
As a friendly and compassionate individual, Jessica communicates well and has worked with a wide range of clients from varying backgrounds, meaning that she is naturally able to put them at ease and help them to understand what can often be very complex procedures or legal issues. Her dedication to helping clients and her genuine passion for law reflects itself in the work that she does in helping our clients understand the legal process and the choices they have to make, and in providing them with robust representation throughout their case.
