Lauren Potts is a Trainee Solicitor and Caseworker, working in our Bristol Crime Department.

Prior to joining Reeds, Lauren worked as a dispenser in a Bristol based pharmacy. During her time there, Lauren undertook a number of tasks including handling and dispensing medicine, managing the reception desk and several additional administrative tasks.

Lauren has shadowed a Crown Court Judge where she joined him on the bench in a variety of cases. One of her most interesting experiences was observing a homicide trial in the Supreme Court of New York.

Lauren has a compassionate nature and a passion for outstanding client care. She is committed to her clients and always ensures that their best interests come first. Lauren’s passion for advocacy work began during her time in university. Her meticulous nature helps her to locate evidence that will strengthen her client’s case and identify even the smallest of details.

In 2023, Lauren graduated from the University of Law with an Upper Second Class Honours degree in Law and Criminology. She is currently working towards completing the Legal Practice course (LPC) and is due to graduate with her masters degree in 2024. Lauren will also be acquiring her Police Station Accreditation. With this she will be able to represent and advise clients in interview after their arrest.
