Wendy Monro is a Trainee Solicitor in our Criminal department. She is currently based in our Oxford office. Wendy is currently working on a variety of criminal cases, assisting senior solicitors with tasks such as legal research, drafting legal documents, and preparing case files for court. She also engages with clients to gather essential information and provide updates on case progress, ensuring they receive the support they need throughout the legal process.
Wendy brings a wealth of experience to her current role as a Trainee Solicitor at Reeds. She previously worked as an associate attorney at the Law Offices of Sergio Siderman in Las Vegas, Nevada. There, she specialised in immigration law, particularly asylum cases. In this position, Wendy skilfully represented clients seeking asylum, conducting in-depth interviews, gathering supporting documentation, and preparing comprehensive legal briefs to effectively advocate for their protection. Her work involved collaborating closely with clients to navigate complex legal processes while ensuring their voices were heard.
Additionally, Wendy gained valuable experience at the Law Offices of Alverson, Taylor and Sanders in the personal injury department where she focussed on insurance defence. She managed a diverse caseload, engaging in extensive legal research, drafting motions, and negotiating settlements to protect clients’ interests against claims. Wendy’s diverse legal background equips her with a unique perspective and a strong foundation in legal defence claims.

Wendy holds a Juris Doctorate in law from Pepperdine University School of Law. There she developed a strong foundation in legal principles and practice. Wendy is a qualified lawyer and member of the Nevada Bar Association, with a current license to practice law in the state of Nevada.
Currently, Wendy Monro is a candidate from an LLM in legal practice from Arden University. This underscores her commitment to maintaining high professional standards and staying informed about the latest developments in the legal field.
