Zakeeya Fatima is a dedicated Crown Court Case Worker in Leighton Buzzard. Her work involves handling a diverse range of cases, such as possession with intent to supply Class A substances, to grievous bodily harm (GBH), Armed Robbery and more.

She is adept at managing varied caseloads involving a multitude of different offences at the Crown Court. The responsibilities Zakeeya take on include case preparation, statement drafting, attending court and taking instructions from clients.

Zakeeya is in the process of obtaining her Police Station Accreditation. This will allow her to represent clients at the police station upon completion.

Before joining Reeds, Zakeeya has worked at various other criminal law firms. She has also worked in  in litigation in London and Bedfordshire. Since the age of 18, she has been involved in the field of criminal law and gained extensive experience whilst honing her skills in this challenging area of law.

Zakeeya has a LLM Masters in Law and was taught by leading experts. During this time, she was supported by specialised lawyers, including prosecutors and those with law enforcement and regulatory experience.

Within the LLM course, she studied LLM in the Law Relating to Fraud and Financial Crime, which focuses on economic crime. As well as LLM in Islamic Finance and Business Law which provided Zakeeya with a significant insight into the financial markets from an Islamic law perspective. She also completed her LLM in Commercial Law, which focuses on practical issues in English commercial law and is suitable for those with a background in contract and tort law.

Zakeeya is set to take the Solicitors Qualifying Examination (SQE) which will further advance her professional qualifications and commitment to legal excellence.

She is known for her excellent client care, understanding, organisational skills and proactive approach. She builds strong relationships with clients and barristers and ensures the best possible outcome of her cases.
