Anne Davies is a Senior Associate Solicitor & Family Team Leader for Oxford, based in our offices in Reading and Oxford.  With a background in all areas of family law, Anne now specialises as an experienced child care lawyer, who deals predominantly with cases involving children. Anne often acts for parents involved in care proceedings, and also acts for Guardians and the children themselves. Recently, Anne has also become a part time District Judge.

She has experience in dealing with complex cases involving non-accidental injuries, factitious or induced illness, and serious domestic violence. Due to her experience in this area, she also advises foster carers, special guardians and potential adopters on issues that arise when children are or are to be placed in their care.  In addition, Anne represents parents in disputes regarding arrangements for their children, often dealing with cases where there are complicated disputes, concerns about parental alienation, abduction and consent for medical treatment.

Anne is very approachable, and works hard for her clients, always trying to achieve a fair result. She is equally comfortable negotiating a positive outcome, as she is in representing her clients in court. She is skilled a analysing a large amount of information and focusing on the salient and relevant points.
