Karen joined in 2014 as the Office Manager of our Bristol, Keynsham and Weston-Super-Mare offices. She then took on the Complex Crime Team which meant overseeing Manchester and London offices too. She then progressed into senior management with the role of Deputy Practice Manager.

Karen is an experienced and accomplished manager, bringing with her over twenty years of experience in combined general management, customer service and HR roles. Karen is also an accredited trainer with a background in finance (AAT) and management.

Here at Reeds Karen now has overall responsibility for the management of the Practice in all areas of services that we provide, whilst still retaining office management of the London and Manchester offices, and the Complex Crime Department, which involves the day to day running of; personnel management; holidays/sickness, inductions and appraisals; plus facilities management within these offices. She is also responsible for health and safety including monitoring risk management, security and fire safety, petty cash and staff expenses.

Karen also supports accounts with monthly payroll and reporting. In addition to her role in overseeing the administration of the firm generally, Karen also undertakes the supervision of the Bristol/Keynsham/Gloucester Office Manager.

Karen is experienced, resilient, energetic, adaptable and well organised with outstanding leadership and team building skills and as such is an asset to the various teams she works with. She has in her previous career, managed multiple projects and programmes, proactively engaging with key stakeholders and influencing them and she actively thrives on managing a busy working environment, where deadlines and targets are a constant focus.

She has a wide spectrum of skills and abilities and is passionate about helping our staff work together to progress and grow, truly wishing to bring out the best in them.
