Sofia Boyall is an Associate Team Manager for our Private Crime Team, based in Luton, though she works with a team spanning across many offices, from Northampton to Oxford/Reading. Sofia is described as the “backbone of the private team”. Sofia joined Reeds in January 2020 as a Caseworker. In August 2023, she was promoted to Manager of the Private Crime Team (Central and East), transitioning from her caseworking role to a managerial role. During her time with Reeds, the Private Crime Team has already quadrupled in size and expertise.

Prior to joining Reeds, Sofia worked at a small Criminal Defence firm in Milton Keynes, dealing with a vast amount of cases. She started her career in criminal law in 2017, working at DWF Law LLP, working in the Motor Prosecution Unit and dipping her feet into real estate law on a vacation scheme at Baker McKenzie.

Sofia is known for her friendly and approachable demeanour, which has enabled her to establish strong rapport with clients, Chambers, experts, and other professionals. She is dedicated to going above and beyond to ensure that clients receive continuous support throughout their proceedings. Sofia takes pride in her organisational skills and efficiency, and consistently makes herself available to assist the growing team as well.
