Caitlin Williams is a paralegal in our Court of Protection department, based in our Cardiff office. Caitlin assists with s21A and s16 applications, including case preparation, drafting papers, attending court and meetings as well as drafting advice to clients.
Prior to joining Reeds, Caitlin spent three years volunteering and interning with the Cardiff University Innocence Project as a caseworker. During her time on the project, Caitlin was responsible for conducting legal research, attending meetings and drafting applications for the Criminal Cases Review Commission. She also has various experience of shadowing practitioners in both the Civil and Family Courts, as well as the Social Security and Child Support Tribunal.
Caitlin is highly organised and efficient, meaning that clients can rely on her to have work completed in a timely and considerate manner.
In 2023, Caitlin achieved an Upper Second Class Honours in Law and a grade of Very Competent with an overall mark of 80 in the Bar Training Course in 2024, graduating from both at Cardiff University. During the Bar Course, Caitlin achieved Top 5 Highest Overall Mark in the Year in four of her modules.
Caitlin has been a member of the Honourable Society of Lincoln’s Inn since 2023 and is due to be called to the Bar in March 2025.
