Owais Qadri is a Crown Court Caseworker in the General Crime department at our Leighton Buzzard office. He litigates in a wide range of criminal cases at the Crown Court for matters including violence, drug offences, theft, sexual offences, amongst many others. Despite the complexities and pressures of his cases, Owais ensures a compassionate and approachable relationship with his clients, maintaining clear communication and mutual understanding.

Clients consistently praise Owais for his calm and supportive approach, turning what could be a stressful and overwhelming experience into a more manageable and reassuring one. His blend of legal expertise and empathetic communication ensures that every client feels informed and confident about the progress of their case, receiving tailored advice suited to their needs and understanding.

In his role, Owais handles key responsibilities such as applying for legal aid, obtaining prior authority for expert reports, communicating with the Court, the Prosecution, and clients throughout the case, and preparing and drafting proofs of evidence, witness statements, legal arguments and legal representations to support each case.

In addition to his Crown Court work, Owais will soon expand his expertise to representing clients at police stations too.
