Zoe Strange is an Associate Team Manager and Senior Caseworker in our Private Client Department and is based in our busy Bristol office. Having worked in criminal law for over 20 years Zoe has vast experience working within busy Police Station, Magistrates and Crown Court teams and Private Team assisting solicitors, solicitor-advocates and barristers to thoroughly prepare cases for Court.
Over that time, Zoe has worked on cases involving a myriad of different offences; from minor indiscretions (such as speeding and drink/drug driving) right through to the most serious cases that appear before the Crown Court.
Client’s often comment on Zoe’s cheerful nature, and she frequently assists clients in resolving their queries or worries about Court procedures, always with the utmost discretion.
Zoe assisted Nicola Hutchinson in the creation of the Private Client Team Southwest during this period of growth and development. The team now cover a large working area, Cheltenham, Bristol, Bath and Swindon, Salisbury and the rest of the Southwest. We have a fantastic team of Solicitors/Cilex Advocates and Caseworkers covering all areas of private client work. Zoe has an extensive knowledge base and has built her reputation on her efficiency, time management and organisational skills over the years.
Recent and notable cases
Central Criminal Court – Operation Lithographical (November 2023)
Assisted senior counsel Tim Forte and Craig Tickner in representing RvB in Operation Lithographical at the Central Criminal Court. The Defendant pleaded guilty to a terrorism related Attempted Murder of an NSA employee at GCHQ. Mrs Justice Cheema Grubb passed a discretionary life sentence on Monday 30th October 2023.

Defendant had suffered abuse himself and could not be represented by a male solicitor, we instructed a child specialist psychologist to prepare a report to assist in the case and successfully negotiated with the Crown an out of court disposal for the Defendant where he received a caution for the offence.
