Caroline Snodgrass is a Court Duty Solicitor in our Oxford Office. Caroline joined the Oxford Reeds Team in August 2024 having been a senior solicitor and Salaried partner at another local firm which, regrettably, closed down. Caroline joined Reeds with a substantial amount of complex Crown Court cases from that previous firm, including 2 Murder cases and serious sex offences.
She prides herself on providing her clients with a high service at whatever stage their case may be at – whether that’s, Police Station, Magistrates or Crown Court. Whilst her current role is that of a Court Duty Solicitor, predominantly based in the Oxford Magistrates Court, Caroline has retained, and will continue to retain, conduct of those complex matters as she feels passionate about continuing to serve those clients.
Caroline shares the running of a busy Magistrates Court with a number of equally passionate colleagues and together they represent a large number of vulnerable clients every week. Due to her own personal family background, she is particularly passionate about representing exceptionally vulnerable clients, whether those vulnerabilities be due to their age (youth clients) or those struggling with complex mental and physical needs.
Whilst Caroline’s current role is exceptionally busy and diverse, she continues to represent, alongside other dedicated case workers, those facing matters before the higher Courts where my specific skills in representing the vulnerable are required.
