Lily is a General Crime Caseworker in our Magistrates department, based in our Oxford office. Lily’s daily tasks include preparing magistrates’ trials, meeting with clients to take instructions, drafting representations and proofs, as well as assisting with police station administrative matters and general casework support.

Before joining Reeds, Lily was an Admin Officer at the Ministry of Justice, based at Oxford Magistrates Court. In this role, she prepared courts for hearings and trials, arranged video links and interpreters, monitored court proceedings, and assisted with the listing of hearings and trials. This experience gave her valuable insight into court procedures and the magistrates’ system. Lily has also worked as a receptionist and agent support professional at Royal LePage in Toronto, Canada. There, she built strong client service and organisational skills over many years.

With Lily’s organised nature and excellent communication skills, she provides thorough support to both clients and the wider team, ensuring cases progress efficiently and clients feel well-informed throughout the process. Lily is also working towards becoming a police station representative, currently enrolled in Cardiff University and actively shadowing police station interviews to develop this specialisation. She has a B.A. Honours degree in Political Science from York University, Toronto, where she specialised in international law and politics, giving her a solid understanding of legal principles.
