Luana Silliton is a Solicitor working in our Family Law Department. She is based in our Swindon office but also covers Bristol and Gloucester. Luana qualified in September 2019 after completing her training contract with us.

Luana specialises in representing parents involved in Care Proceedings and is regularly instructed on matters across the South West of England, primarily Swindon and Gloucester. She has experience in dealing with a range of issues including substance misuse, domestic abuse, non-accidental injury and mental health difficulties.

Luana has a particular interest in supporting parents through the Family Drug and Alcohol Court (FDAC), having previously represented parents through this process. She also regularly assists clients in matters relating to Child Arrangements, offering advice and representation to those clients who are eligible for Legal Aid.

Luana is known for providing clients with patience and understanding to ensure that they feel supported and listened to throughout the Court process. This includes regularly supporting vulnerable clients.

Luana is fluent in conversing in Portuguese, having previously used this skill to assist Brazilian nationals through the complexities of Care Proceedings.
