Saskia Fuchs is a remarkable Trainee Solicitor working as a part of our Court of Protection team. She is currently based in our Bristol office.
Saskia graduated from University of Bristol in 2024 with an Upper Second-Class Honour Degree in Law. Saskia is due to complete the Solicitor’s Qualifying Examination, before becoming a qualified Court of Protection solicitor in 2026.
As a Trainee Solicitor, Saskia works closely with fee earners to assist on matters relating to an individual’s deprivation of liberty, capacity, and best interests in Court of Protection proceedings. Saskia’s role involves supporting fee earners in navigating complex and sensitive issues including residence, care, contact, internet and social media use, sexual relations, finances and marriage.
Saskia provides support in representing individuals who lack capacity, as well as working with family members and advocates. She also assists in cases where the Official Solicitor act as litigation friend.
Saskia approaches her work with compassion and care. She ensures tasks are completed efficiently and thoughtfully, helping to support the team in achieving the best outcomes for clients and their families.
