Emma Gauden is a Prison law Consultant covering the Wiltshire area. Emma represents prisoners at parole paper reviews and oral hearings including lifers, IPPs, EDS and recalled prisoners. Emma has a special interest in representing prisoners at parole reviews for sentences relating to historical sex offences.

Prior to Reeds, Emma worked at the Student Law Office at Northumbria University working on appeals for prisoners and members of the public on a pro bono basis. Emma started working in prison law at Michael Purdon Solicitors, in Newcastle Upon Tyne, in 2008 before relocating to the North West and has been working solely in Prison Law ever since making her very experienced in this area, especially in appearing before the Parole Board.

Emma is easy to talk to and is incredibly approachable. Emma also takes pride in her formulating of arguments and persuasive writing.
