Georgia Kirk is a Solicitor in our Private Crime Department, based in the Oxford office. She represents clients throughout all stages of the Magistrates’ Court process, including police station attendance, first appearances, bail applications, trials, and sentencing hearings. Georgia also conducts litigation for Crown Court matters, working alongside nationally recognised King’s Counsel from leading criminal sets.
Georgia has adopted a pro-active approach during the investigation stage, working diligently to reduce the prospect of prosecution for clients. This proactive early intervention is instrumental in achieving swift decisions by investigators and favourable outcomes for clients. This approach within the Private Crime Department, distinguishes Reeds from the more traditional, reactive strategies often adopted by other firms.
Prior to working for Reeds, Georgia worked as an Evidential Review Officer for the Police where she conducted thorough reviews of criminal and remand cases. Working directly with officers, she provided charging advice, ensured offences were supported with sufficient evidence and that disclosure requirements were met. The cases she managed ranged from minor offences to murder. This experience has been invaluable in understanding police investigative processes and has enabled her to tailor her approach at the investigation stage, ensuring our strategies are effectively deployed to our client’s benefit.
Georgia is known for her compassion, professionalism, and exemplary client care. Her organised and meticulous working style ensures that every case is progressed with diligence, precision, and unwavering commitment.

Recently, I found myself facing a conviction for a crime I had not committed and was incredibly fortunate to find Georgia Kirk and the team at Reeds Solicitors. From the very first conversation, Georgia put me at ease with her professional, clear, and confident advice. She kept me fully informed throughout the entire process and handled everything efficiently. Thanks to her expertise, I didn’t even have to attend court, and the matter was resolved successfully. I couldn’t be happier with the outcome and am extremely grateful to Georgia and the Reeds team for their support.

I cannot thank Georgia at Reeds Solicitors enough for her outstanding support and professionalism. From the outset, my consultation with her was quick, efficient, and highly informative. Despite my case being quite unique and complex, Georgia approached it with confidence and was willing to take on the challenge of preparing a letter of representation on my behalf. She worked incredibly quickly, providing a draft within just one day for my review. After I shared a few amendments, she updated the letter promptly and ensured it was sent without delay. The letter was issued on 12 March, and to my great relief, the matter was successfully settled out of court by 16 March. At the time, I was facing a Byelaw 18 charge with a court date set for 1 April, and I had very little hope that the rail company would agree to settle. However, thanks to Georgia’s positive attitude, professionalism, and efficiency, the situation was resolved far more quickly than I could have expected. I am incredibly grateful for the way she handled my case and would highly recommend her to anyone in need of legal assistance.
