Jaiddie Byles is a Clerk/ Legal Assistant, in our Crown Court department, based in our Oxford office. Jaiddie assists with legal aid, client care, preparing cases, reviewing evidence, drafting statements, attending court, drafting bail variations, taking instructions from clients, liaising with Counsel and liaising with the court.

Jaiddie studied law in Oxford and achieved a LLB (Hons) and a Postgraduate Diploma in International Law (PDGL).

Prior to joining Reeds, Jaiddie worked as a Crime Legal Assistant at SMQ Legal Services where she assisted police station representatives, paralegals and solicitors in the crime team. Jaiddie also assisted in other departments at the firm including Conveyancing, Family Law, Civil law, Wills and Probate. Jaiddie has also worked as a Legal Assistant at Quality Solicitors Truemans and as an Adviser at Citizens Advice.

Jaiddie Byles is highly organised and proactive. A people’s person who likes to ensure that client care is always at the highest standard. Jaiddie is naturally approachable and empathetic, which means that staff, associates and clients can easily rely on her to give the best possible service.
