Rhian holds an undergraduate degree in Philosophy and went on to complete the Graduate Diploma in Law (GDL) and the Legal Practice Course (LPC) at Cardiff University. She qualified as a solicitor in 2023 and became a Law Society-accredited member of the Mental Health Panel in 2024. Rhian is also a fluent Welsh speaker.

Rhian is a dedicated and experienced mental health solicitor who specialises in representing individuals detained under the Mental Health Act. She regularly advocates for clients at tribunal hearings, hospital manager hearings, and attends Care and Treatment Planning (CTP) meetings to ensure their rights, voices, and wishes are properly heard and respected throughout the legal process.

Rhian represents both restricted and non-restricted clients, and has experience working with individuals facing a wide range of mental health diagnoses and legal complexities. Rhian works with clients from all walks of life, often in complex and sensitive situations. She is known for her calm, empathetic, and client-focused approach, and is committed to promoting dignity, fairness, and justice within the mental health legal system. She takes pride in building strong, trusting relationships with both clients and professionals.
