Saiqa Amjad is a solicitor withing the Family team in Oxford. Saiqa deals with matters relating to children within private and public law arena. She conducts all her cases efficiently from the start to the end of the matter and assist clients during major life transitions.

Saiqa is currently working on care proceedings, which includes advising clients, drafting comprehensive legal documentation including statements and regularly undertakes her own advocacy in court to secure the best possible outcomes for client.

Saiqa completed her training to become a solicitor with Reeds and then moved to another firm for a short period of time where she worked as a childcare solicitor. Saiqa returned to Reeds in December 2025.

Saiqa is an excellent communicator and takes great pride in providing excellent levels of client care during each of her cases. Saiqa is also extremely organised and proactive, meaning that her cases are always handled with the utmost care.

Saiqa is an active listener, and she communicates clearly to make the legal processes transparent, manageable and reassuring. She understands that family matters are deeply personal and sensitive and she prides herself on delivering empathetic support without compromising on rigorous legal standards.
