Loretta Bentley is an Associate Team Leader & Paralegal and Accredited Police Station Representative, as well as the Team Leader for the crime team based at our office in Eastbourne.

Beng Eastbourne born and bred, Loretta has an extensive knowledge of the town and surrounding areas.

Loretta joined Reeds, having amassed over 30 years of experience in a similar role at Mayo & Perkins, Stephen Rimmer & Co and Warrens Law and, together with representing clients at local Police Stations, she assists in the preparation of primarily, serious and complex cases before the Magistrates Court and the Crown Court; including serious fraud, drug importation, murder, armed robbery, rape, child neglect and serious assaults.

Clients value Loretta’s practical “no-nonsense” approach to her cases and her ability to communicate with them in a way that they can understand, whatever their background. Such is her appeal, that she has developed and maintained an excellent own client base during the course of her career, with clients frequently requesting her by name. Her organisational skills are exemplary and she takes care to ensure that all deadlines are met, frequently receiving praise from those that she works with and instructs for the quality of her preparation and the level of care that she provides to clients, and where appropriate, their families.
