Jen Brooke-Janes is the Team Manager of the Family Admin Team and also provides valuable assistance to the Family law Department as a whole in relation to both public and private family law.
Jen’s responsibilities are varied and change throughout the day dependent on what takes priority, Jen ensures that the High Wycombe office runs smoothly together with the personnel management of the Bucks Family Team and the Family Admin Team. Her other responsibilities include the monitoring of staff levels, she also deals with the supervision of support staff and coordination of appraisals.
The nature of Jen’s role requires her to be highly organised and adaptable on a day to day basis being able to think on her feet! having previously run her own business before returning her career in the legal world, of which she has some 30 years of experience, she truly understands the value and necessity of multitasking. She has excellent skills in problem solving and logistics; often finding the most pragmatic solutions to any issue that she is faced with. Always keeping a calm and cool head she is able to easily adapt to any pressured situation. Her friendly and approachable personality means that she communicates effectively, even when doing so remotely, and is able to always ensure that her teams are consistently working well together and collectively, and that they have all that they need to be able to deliver the quality service that they always strive for.
