Ateeq Arif is a dedicated Trainee Solicitor in our Mental Health Team, based at our Luton Office, where he provides invaluable support to Senior Associate Solicitor and Team Leader, Natalie Dodds.
Ateeq’s responsibilities include attending meetings, taking client instructions, reviewing section paperwork, drafting tribunal preparation notes and preparing report summaries. He is currently working towards his mental health accreditation, which will enable him to represent clients detained under the Mental Health Act 1983.
Ateeq graduated from City University London in 2016 and completed his Legal Practice Course in 2017. Prior to joining Reeds, Ateeq gained several years of experience assisting at top commercial law firms and UK government public inquiries. This background provided him with extensive experience in evidence analysis and meticulous case preparation.
Known for being organised, reliable and detail focussed, Ateeq provides consistent support to Natalie Dodds in her cases. He builds strong rapport with clients and takes great care to ensure a high standard of work is delivered at every stage.
