Melissa Ida Petty is a Solicitor, in our Mental Health department, based in our Manchester office. Melissa represents clients detained under the Mental Health Act, under both forensic and civil sections, throughout the North of England. She represents clients at Hospital Managers Hearings and at Care Programme Approach (CPA) meetings and advises patients and their relatives on all aspects of Mental Health Law.
Melissa began her career in Mental Health Law in 2020 and became a a member of the Law Society Mental Health Review Tribunal Panel in 2022. Melissa qualified as a Solicitor in 2024.
Melissa is an excellent communicator and takes great pride in providing excellent levels of client care during each of his cases.
