“I am a practising barrister specialising in criminal law and I am a member of 36 Crime, part of The 36 Group. I have been asked to provide a testimonial in respect of your Senior Associate and Crown Court Litigation Team Manager, Gayna White. I have worked with Gayna on a number of cases. I can say from personal experience of working with Gayna that she is highly organised, personable, and efficient. From the initial instructing of counsel, Gayna establishes and maintains efficient communication with all members of the lay client’s legal team and adopts a proactive approach when dealing with all aspects of a case. Gayna is an integral member of the defence team. I have no difficulty in asking Gayna to attend conferences personally and to her input. She possesses a wealth of practical experience, and her opinions regarding tactics and strategy are, in my view, invaluable. Having seen Gayna engage with lay clients directly, I can say with certainty that her client care and interpersonal skills are second-to-none. Gayna can put clients at ease and adapts her communication accordingly. People feel reassured in times of need. It is a pleasure to work with Gayna. She is a true asset to Reeds Solicitors LLP and lay clients and counsel are in safe hands”
Mr James Ball The 36 Group
Gayna was extremely hard working, attentive to detail and knowledgeable. She particularly excelled at client care and keeping the client and the court up to date in a complex case with voluminous papers that lasted years. She also provided realistic and clear practical guidance to the client to assist him through the trial process. An all round excellent professional.

“Gayna was my instructing solicitor in the case of R v ***** Mr * was alleged to have sexually assaulted his disabled sister in law. I was briefed very shortly before the trial and raised a number of issues that needed to be addressed at very short notice in order to present the best defence. Gaynor dealt with all of the issues I raised with good grace and by return and was always contactable on the phone. I was very happy to be supported by Gayna in this case”.

“Gayna White is simply the best paralegal/caseworker I have ever worked with. She came to Reeds many years ago having already worked in a top Oxford firm. I observed her as she wisely assessed the who’s who of the new environment. It wasn’t long before – quietly, efficiently and modestly – Gayna began to show her experience and ability. She soon became a highly respected and treasured part of the Crown Court team. Gayna is also just about the kindest and most caring person you could wish to meet. Nothing is too much trouble for her. She will go the extra mile even for the most challenging of clients. But there is still the high professionalism of getting things done, responding to the constant demands of the job and always being available to help. On top of which, she manages her team with apparent ease. I cannot speak highly enough of her.”
