Jaiddie Byles is a Caseworker, in our Crown Court department, based in our Oxford office.

Jaiddie predominantly works with clients who rely on legal aid funding for proceedings and assists with legal aid applications, transfers, appeals and withdrawals. Her duties mainly consist of preparing cases, reviewing evidence, drafting statements, attending court, drafting bail variations, taking instructions from clients, liaising with Counsel and the Court.

Jaiddie studied law in Oxford and achieved a LLB (Hons) and a Postgraduate Diploma in International Law (PDGL).

Prior to joining Reeds, Jaiddie worked as a Crime Legal Assistant in the Police Station and Magistrates Team. She has also worked as an Adviser at Citizens Advice.

Jaiddie is a people’s person who likes to ensure that client care is always at the highest standard. She is naturally approachable and empathetic which allows staff, associates and clients able to rely on her to give the best possible service.
