Morgan is an Associate Solicitor, in our Family department, based in our Milton Keynes office. Morgan completed her undergraduate degree at the University of Durham before completing the Graduate Diploma in Law and Legal Practice Course at the College of Law in York. Morgan qualified as a solicitor in 2009 and is a member of the Law Society’s Children Panel. Morgan specialises in Care Proceedings and represents parents and children in response to applications brought by the Local Authority. Morgan also represents parents in pre proceedings through the Public Law Outline process. Morgan frequently represents children in applications under the Inherent Jurisdiction in respect of Deprivation of Liberty. Morgan also represents children in complex Private Law Proceedings where a Guardian has been appointed. Where possible, Morgan likes to undertake her own advocacy and provide continuity for her clients throughout the case. Morgan adopts a hands on approach and strives to achieve the best possible outcomes for her clients under what can be, highly emotive circumstances.

Prior to joining Reeds, Morgan worked as a Solicitor at a Bedfordshire firm for 15 years where she started her career undertaking Private Law Children matters before transitioning to the Care Team in 2010.

Morgan Tunstill is approachable and always tries to put her clients at ease whilst giving them the best possible advice. Morgan gives her clients realistic advice whilst listening carefully to the client’s needs and wishes. Morgan has excellent organisational skills and prides herself in working well under the fast pace of Care Proceedings.
