Wendy Still is a Legal Executive working in the Family Department in our Eastbourne Office.  Wendy represents parents in care proceedings where the Local Authority have become involved in a family’s life. Wendy will represent parents at Meetings Before Action (MBA) and throughout care proceedings.

She qualified as a Legal Executive in 1999 and has practiced in various areas of law. However, for the last ten years she has primarily focused on representing parents in care proceedings.

In the past, Wendy has also worked for ESCC Local Authority in the Child Protection Department where she would give advice and represent the Local Authority in care proceedings. Her experience there allowed her to apply her knowledge to representing parents. Alongside this work, Wendy also taught on the CILEx course for Sussex Downs College for 18 years.

Wendy has represented parents in cases of a very serious nature, including where one parent has killed the other parent, sexual abuse and allegations of fabricated or induced illness (FII).

Wendy Still works hard to ensure her clients are properly ‘heard’ within care proceedings. She will challenge the Local Authority when they need challenging. Wendy is always open and honest in the advice that she gives.

Wendy still from reeds solicitors has been amazing representation for me. Wendy is kind, caring friendly and always put her clients first! She put alot of time and dedication into my case, sorted problems and was the best solicitor ive had by far! Would always 100% recommend her, shes honest and has been a god send to me and my family and if it wasnt for her my case would have gone a very different way. Wendy is very knowledgeable, always tries her best and is just a very very lovely lady. Thank you for all your help, your time, your patience and everything! I wish you all the best
