Harriet Vipulis is a trainee solicitor in our Manchester office, specialising in Prison Law and Complex Crime. She represents clients nationwide across a range of serious and sensitive matters.
Harriet’s day-to-day practice involves visiting clients in custody, drafting comprehensive representations, and providing robust advocacy at Parole Hearings. She works primarily with prisoners serving mandatory life sentences and IPP sentences, and has experience managing serious and complex cases, including murder, manslaughter and, more recently, offences under the Terrorism Act 2000. She also has experience in dealing with sensitive and high-profile matters, which are always handled with appropriate care, discretion and attention to detail.
Harriet holds a master’s degree in law and is due to qualify as a solicitor later this year. Reflecting her commitment to access to justice, she has also volunteered with the Streetlaw network and the National Centre for Domestic Violence.
